Jane Lynch won her first Emmy Award 2010



Jane Lynch has won her first Emmy Award. The actress was previously nominated for her guest role on, Two and a Half Men, but Lynch took home her first statuette for her performance as cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester on Fox's Glee.

In her acceptance speech for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy award, Linch thanked her "lord and creator Ryan Murphy" and her younger castmates.
Lynch wore a purple one-shouldered Ali Rahimi gown.
Touted as the evening's only sure thing in the acting categories, Jane Lynch's supporting actrress Emmy win for "Glee" was no less exciting when it went down.
After already being honored by Madam Tussauds with a special "Glee" wax statue earliesr this month, the actress has also been tapped to host " Saturday Night Live" in October. Nominated for an Emmy this year it is highly probable that she won't walk away empty handed.
Jane Lynch was born fifty years ago in Illinois. She was born in a family which did not have connections with the world of show business but as she was born in the land of opportunities so she was able to make her place in the show business industry. She had great interest in theatre so she chose it as her educational subject and she earned a bachelors degree in theatre.
